Laying laminate flooring is as much about preparation as it is about the final finish, and this project was a perfect example of that balance. In our client’s home, the existing floor was carefully removed and the subfloor assessed to ensure it was level, dry and ready to perform long term. Taking the time to get these foundations right allowed the new laminate to sit cleanly, creating an immediate sense of cohesion across the space.
The installation itself focused on precision and flow. Each board was laid with consistent spacing and alignment, allowing the natural grain and tone of the laminate to run smoothly through the room. Door thresholds, edges and transitions were finished with care, ensuring the flooring complemented the surrounding interiors rather than drawing attention to joins or breaks. The result is a surface that feels solid underfoot and visually calm.
Once complete, the new laminate flooring transformed how the room feels and functions.
